About

Hi, I’m Peter. I’m a technology leader, problem-solver, and builder of things that matter. I live in County Fermanagh with my wife and our four kids. I currently work at UnitedHealth Group, where I lead large-scale technology programmes, drive integration strategy, and help teams deliver work that actually works.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve built my career at the intersection of technology, leadership, and delivery. I’ve managed global integration projects with multimillion-euro budgets, launched new platforms from scratch, and helped some of the world’s largest health and tech companies operate more efficiently. I’ve also learned how to balance strategy with pragmatism, and scale without overcomplicating.

But I’m not just a strategist. I still love to build. Whether it’s releasing a new product, writing code, or helping a small team ship something ambitious, I’m happiest when I’m making ideas real. I believe good work speaks for itself, and that being hands-on is often the best way to lead.

Right now, I’m exploring advisory and board opportunities, particularly with early-stage companies in tech, SaaS, and AI. I’m also writing more, expressing my ideas and offer a little advice on the side, I’m building Poncdash, a dynamic contact management platform, designed to replace static address books with something more useful and human.

Outside of work, I have a deep love for personal projects. I’m fascinated by retro computing and the old machines we used to build things on. I enjoy making tools for macOS, tinkering with sound and music, and creating things that are small but sharp.

I’m also continuing with my education and working on my dissertation right now for my MSc in Cloud Computing.

I care about making technology accessible and useful. I care about helping small teams punch above their weight. I care about the possibility of working from Ireland while contributing to things globally. And I care a lot about raising curious, kind, digitally literate kids in a world that isn’t always built for them.

Thanks for stopping by.
