Twenty years in technology. From startups to global enterprise. From writing code to leading strategy. The throughline has always been the same: making complex systems work for humans, not the other way around.
At Optum, I lead large-scale technology integrations for acquired businesses — work that sits at the intersection of technology, culture, and strategy. Before that, I co-founded Mall Ireland, an e-commerce platform that supported SME retailers across Ireland.
I'm also Director at Blue Green Yonder on Castle Island in Enniskillen — a place where adventure and heritage meet on the water. And I'm currently building Poncdash, a dynamic contact management platform designed to replace static address books with something more useful and human.
How I Work
I believe technology should feel less like machinery and more like momentum — something that quietly helps people do what they came here to do. Whether I'm leading an integration programme, advising a startup, or building a product of my own, I bring the same approach: listen first, simplify what's complex, and leave things better structured than I found them.
Beyond the Screen
I hold an MSc in Cloud Computing with a dissertation on adaptive compression for thin client environments. I'm a student pilot working toward my PPL, a football coach, and a father of four. I've been playing games competitively since the Counter-Strike clan days, and I still believe Monday nights are better with friends online.
I'm based in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland — near Lough Erne, where the sky meets the water and everything slows down just enough to think clearly.
Get in Touch
If you're working on something interesting — or if you just want to talk technology, aviation, or building things that matter — I'd love to hear from you.
